Shaquem Griffin, One-Handed NFLer, To Deliver CorrExpo Closing Keynote

CorrExpo 2025, TAPPI’s premier event for the corrugated packaging industry, is set to close with a game-winner. The closing keynote, on October 22, will be delivered by Shaquem Griffin, the first one-handed player drafted into the National Football League (NFL) and consultant with the NFL Legends Community.

A former linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks and Miami Dolphins, Shaquem has turned heads and shattered expectations at every level of his career. Born with amniotic band syndrome, he had his left hand amputated at just four years old – but that didn’t stop him.  Shaquem made national headlines when he ran a jaw-dropping 4.38-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine.  He was drafted by the Seahawks in 2018, alongside his twin brother.

Today, Shaquem is a consultant with the NFL Legends Community and a sought-after motivational speaker.  During his closing keynote “Please Don’t Tell Me What I Can’t Do,” Shaquem will inspire CorrExpo attendees to think outside the box by sharing his journey of resilience, determination, and purpose.

CorrExpo 2025 will take place October 20-22 in Savannah, Georgia at the Savannah Convention Center. This event brings together a diverse community of box manufacturers, suppliers, technical experts, and industry leaders, all with a shared goal: to foster innovation, strengthen relationships, and connect with the trends shaping the future of the packaging industry.
