Diversity and Inclusion - Packaging for Everyone by Everyone

Diversity & inclusion are core values of The Ruskin Group
that make us a better employer, supplier, and customer.

Diversity Puzzle
THE RUSKIN GROUP

Diversity strengthens the bond The Ruskin Group has to its founding mission and to its people

We strive to be a company where everyone is welcome – as employees, customers, and suppliers – regardless of where they come from, who they are, or what they believe. We embrace and celebrate diversity and inclusion as core values that make us a stronger organization.

Inside The Ruskin Group, we bring together individuals from the widest range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to create the best solutions for our customers. We are connected by shared values and a commitment to surpass customer expectations every day.

Outside The Ruskin Group, diversity in our suppliers drives the most innovative, creative, and cost effective products and services. For our customers – we are “packaging for everyone” so that every customer, just like every employee and supplier, feels welcomed, respected, and appreciated.

The Ruskin Group is proud to be an LGBT-owned business. In 2018, the Ruskin Group became the first certified LGBT-owned full service packaging company in the country (certified by the NGLCC – The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce). No other packaging company in the world has been certified, and it’s a tremendous honor that speaks to the special culture we’ve curated. We’ve created a bond among colleagues based on a genuine respect of one another as human beings and an appreciation for everyone’s individual goals and talents. It’s our hope that our deliberate stance opens doors for other companies to do the same.

The Ruskin Group has a comprehensive diversity and inclusion program which includes supplier diversity and employee resource groups initiatives (ERGs).

The Ruskin Group’s employee base is full of varying perspectives and backgrounds that reflect the global marketplace, our diverse customer base, and our own core values. When we’re diverse, we relate to customers on a deeper level and can better adapt to their growing needs. It’s not just business: it’s life.

We work every day to insure an open environment where every employee can be their authentic self; where we learn from each other to enhance relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers for a better understanding of who we all are as people. This key understanding points to the bigger picture of The Ruskin Group’s purpose as a company: to foster an uplifting environment of productive workers that achieve company objectives as great professionals and even greater people.
