The Fibre Box Association looks forward to welcoming its membership on May 4-6 to the Annual Meeting at the beautiful Ritz Carlton Vanderbilt Beach in Naples, Florida. A celebrated icon on Florida’s Gulf Coast, the property was fully renovated in 2023 and offers an iconic experience and tranquil moments in a luxurious setting.
During the first general session, you’ll hear from speakers including Laurent Sellier, President and Chief Executive Officer North America for Smurfit Westrock, who will deliver his outlook for manufacturing under President Trump and an engaging conversation about plant safety.
Appointed CEO of Smurfit Kappa The Americas in 2022, Laurent joined the Company in 1994 as an Internal Auditor and since then has worked in several positions across Smurfit Kappa in France, the UK, Spain and the Netherlands. Previous to his current position, Laurent was COO of the Smurfit Kappa Europe Paper and Board Division. Laurent graduated from the Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris in 1990 and served in the French Navy.
In the second session, the newly introduced end-use segment series continues in 2025 with insights into the important produce segment, a dive into new technologies for the corrugated industry and a customer presentation.
