The Paper and Packaging Board (P+PB) is seeking nominees to serve on its board of directors for a 3-year term starting January 1, 2026. Nominations are due May 16.
The Board is seeking two experienced industry members from the South region who can bring deep industry knowledge to the board’s discussion and represent a range of product sectors including containerboard, paperboard, kraft and printing, writing paper and office paper. The Board of Directors comprises representation from eight companies: four companies representing the South, three companies for the Rest of the US and one Importer.
The definition of the South is a company with operations in Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia or West Virginia. In addition to geographical representation, the selection criteria for board members includes product sector, leadership positions, company size and sustainability commitments.Only companies that pay into the Paper and Packaging Board program can be nominated. In addition, only one person per company can serve on the board at any time.
