Basil Michael Pandolfelli, known as Mike to his friends, of Mahwah, New Jersey, passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 78. Born in the Bronx, New York to Rose (nee Maiorano) and Anthony Pandolfelli, Mike worked in his father’s butcher shop before
graduating from St. John’s University.

He went on to have a successful career in business, founding American Capital Resources (ACR), a company that financed and leased publishing equipment. Marrying his business acumen and love of boating, in the early 1990s, Mike purchased Hustler Powerboats, a manufacturer of high-performance boats on Long Island, New York, and often participated in Poker runs with his friends and colleagues.

Generous with all his friends and family, Mike enjoyed throwing parties, traveling, fishing, scuba diving, skiing
and watching the Yankees. Though he enjoyed great financial success, he experienced tough times during the 2008 financial crisis. His humility and perseverance were evident during those years as he continued to care for and support his children.

Mike is survived by his daughters Michele Pandolfelli-Greene (and her husband Thomas) of Stony Brook, NewnYork; Lauren Pandolfelli (and her husband Andrew Lasala) of Forest Hills, New York; Gabriella Pandolfelli of Bayshore, New York; as well as his son, Michael Pandolfelli, of Westbury, New York. Mike was a loving grandfather to Sophia, Lil, Ryan, Lucas and Leonardo. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Spread the love
