Norwalk, Connecticut based Metsä Board Americas announced that Robert E. Heithaus Sr. joined its team as a Director of Sales-Convertors at the end of 2024, bringing with him a passion for environmental stewardship in the paper and packaging sector.
“Since then, he has been focused on customers, driving operational efficiency through CRM integration, reducing complexity, and enhancing performance to grow our direct customer base,” the company said. He admits that it has taken him time to grasp the scope and scale of a $6 billion dollar enterprise while also getting to know his colleagues, their teams, and systems.
“I love listening to and learning about the histories of people who have been here for over a decade, which has led to the success and commitment to our Americas’ clients,” he says.
Robert’s focus this year is building upon the strengths of the teams and products and expanding Metsä Board Americas’ reach into new market segments. He previously served as VP of Marketing at Lewisburg Printing Company, now Lewisburg Patterson Company.
