Green Bay Packaging has announced two employee promotions involving its paper mill operations.
Matt Szymanski has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Green Bay Packaging. In this pivotal role, he will lead the paper mills, woodlands, and corrugated packaging divisions. Szymanski has been with Green Bay since 1990 and his strong leadership and team-building abilities have earned him great respect within the organization and the industry.
William Cone will assume the role of Vice President of Mill Operations, effective September 1st. With more than 30 years in the paper industry, Cone brings expertise and dedication to continuous improvement, operational reliability, and building strong teams, which have been a defining part of his success.
Szymanski and Cone are both former mill managers at Arkansas Kraft Paper Mill, which produces linerboard using virgin fiber sourced from Green Bay’s lumber mill.
