Southern Champion Tray, a manufacturer of sustainable paperboard packaging, has installed a new Heidelberg Boardmaster Flexographic Press at its Centre South facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The Boardmaster offers a production speed of up to 2,000 feet per minute, with non-stop roll change technology, and ten flexographic print units.
Its integrated inline coating system supports a wide range of protective and aesthetic finishes. The press also features a 100 percent inline defect detection system, servo-driven automation for precision registration and quick-change print decks.
