American Packaging Corporation (APC) has plans for a major expansion to its Story City, Iowa, Center of Excellence, housing another investment in pouching capability and capacity.
American Packaging expects to break ground in October 2025 and complete the expansion by the end of September 2026.
APC notes that pouches are experiencing growth in the North American flexible packaging market, with a projected growth rate of approximately 4.5 percent from 2024 to 2029, according to a Modor Intelligence study.
APC’s Story City Center of Excellence offers flexographic printing for its preformed pouches and bags.
