While in Green Bay, Wisconsin, team members from the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) toured Green Bay Packaging’s 100 percent recycled paper mill which produces recycled linerboard and medium.
This mill is the world’s first net-zero water facility and was the first new mill in Wisconsin in over 35 years. The innovative process means total gallons of reused and reclaimed water is more than the amount of new freshwater supply. In June, Green Bay Packaging broke ground on the more than $1 million expansion project at their Morrilton, Arkansas manufacturing facility.
