Spokane, Washington based Clearwater Paper Corp has confirmed that its premium Candesce paperboard from Lewiston and Cypress Bend mills is now BPI compostable certified for foodservice, folding carton, and plate stock.
“This certification underscores our commitment to sustainable innovation and provides our customers with high-performance packaging solutions that support a circular economy. With these compostable options, brands can meet growing consumer demand for environmentally responsible materials without compromising on quality or functionality,” said the company in a statement.
