
Held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from May 21–23, the The FINAT European Label Forum (ELF) 2025 brought together a record number of 240 delegates from 26 countries.
The ELF explored topics shaping the future of the label industry; from environmental sustainability and the implications of the EU’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), to the transformative role of artificial intelligence, innovation in flexible packaging, and strategies for future leadership.
One of the highlights of the forum was the announcement of the winners of the 45th FINAT Label Competition, with 184 entries from 47 companies across 21 countries.
Keynotes from geopolitical expert Ron Keller and mountaineer Bonita Norris inspired attendees with insights on global dynamics and personal resilience. In parallel, experts like Corey Reardon, AWA; Thomas Reiner, Berndt & Partner; and Paul Jenkins, The PackHub, discussed market trends, sustainability drivers, and technological transformation.Notably, the forum also introduced the industry to new developments such as FINAT’s e-learning platform, and featured animated scenario-planning powered by AI, sparking fresh dialogue about the future role of labels in a fast-changing world.
The FINAT European Label Forum 2026 will take place in Seville, Spain, from May 27–29.
