Premium Labels & Packaging Solutions (PLPS) has unveiled a company-wide initiative that accelerates the converter’s commitment to sustainability.
Earlier this year, the company updated its mission statement, which now reads: We strive to be a trusted partner to our clients by enhancing their products, supporting their success, and driving positive environmental impact.
A cornerstone of PLPS’ initiative is the launch of EARTH+, an exclusive portfolio of products that reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability in the materials it uses for clients and its dedication to reducing its environmental impact. All EARTH+ product components meet APR critical guidance. The current line is 100 percent recyclable, and more products are being developed to enhance the portfolio.
PLPS EARTH+ PS is a line of pressure sensitive labels for both PET and HDPE containers.
PLPS EARTH+ FLEX is a line of flexible packaging that generates photo-quality graphics while reducing environmental impact. It complies with the How2Recycle program and can be dropped off at participating stores, including major retailers.
This globally recognized platform evaluates sustainability criteria across four core themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
